Hello! I am Audrey Anna Elliott, one of the fourth grade teachers here at SCCS. I moved here to Santa Cruz in 2019 to marry my husband, a local Camba. Despite the interesting first year, I love all the new things I am learning here! I am entering my fourth year teaching, having finished my Masters in teaching in Washington, DC and worked two years at a charter school there. Two of my favorite things to incorporate in my classroom are social-emotional growth and social justice learning.
When I am not teaching (and sometimes while teaching), I love to run and move in any way possible. My sport of choice is ultimate frisbee, but it doesn’t look like anyone plays here. I love trying new things in my classroom, so this year’s challenges will bring new opportunities!
