Application & Acceptance

All students applying to attend SCCS must submit an application. Application evaluation will begin in March for students applying to attend the following school year, beginning in August. Only applications with all required documents, including a parent/guardian signature, will be submitted to the Admission Committee for consideration. A $50 non-refundable fee is required with all applications to cover costs for processing your child’s application.

The next step in determining whether or not SCCS is right for your child is the SCCS admission test

which is required prior to enrollment. The admission test reflects your child’s English skills and reading comprehension, determines math levels, and provides a writing assessment. The admission test gives parents and prospective students an indication of the learning level expected at SCCS.

Upon approval of your child's application

you will be contacted with the date and hour of your child’s admission test. A $50 exam fee per child must be paid at the SCCS business office prior to the exam date. Your child must present a copy of the receipt to the examiner prior to testing.

An Academic Committee will review the results of the test

school principal will contact you regarding the results and subsequent decision of the committee.

Once your child has been accepted

you will meet with the Business and Finance Manager to prepare a payment schedule. After the initial payment has been made, the elementary principal (PK – 5th grade) or the high school counselor (6th – 12th grade) will meet with you to register and discuss a class schedule for your child.
