My name is Carla Naupari. I was born and raised in Northern Virginia, near Washington, D.C., but my family is from Peru. I studied Psychology at the University of Maryland and then Education at the University of Virginia. I have been teaching elementary school for fifteen years. I began my teaching career in Virginia, where I taught for six years. Then, I decided to become an international elementary teacher to combine my two passions in life - teaching and traveling. In 2012, I moved to Bolivia and became a teacher at SCCS for two years. Then, I taught in Mexico, Tanzania, and Mozambique. Now, I am happy to be back at SCCS!
