My name is Nazaria Escalante Aponte. I was born and raised in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia. I’m the youngest of three siblings and family is a priority for me. My favorite thing to do is to spend time with my two nephews and my little niece. I studied Psychology and have always been passionate about children and learning. I am a very curious person and enjoy learning new things. If something catches my interest I’ll start a deep -obsessive- research about it. I’m mostly self-taught in all my areas of interest and enjoy learning new things. In 2020 I decided to enroll in two Master’s programs, both of them focused in Education and Neuroscience in Education. I worked with SCCS as an external paraeducator for two years and in 2019 I became a First Grade classroom teacher. Before that, I taught at the university level for almost two years and worked independently as a tutor and learning consultant with children. I love my SCCS community and I am thankful for the opportunity to be a part of it.
